Charlotte County Clerk of Court Announces Next Annual Event to Help Customers Save on Fees to Reinstate Driver Licenses

WHAT:
  • Operation Green Light, Charlotte County Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller
WHEN:
  • April 8th - April 12th 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
    April 15th - April 19th 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
    Saturday, April 6th from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
    (Punta Gorda Location only)

    Participate in person at either of our locations: 350 East Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda or 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte.
WHO:
  • Individuals looking to save on fees and have their driver license reinstated.

Charlotte County residents are invited to participate in an Operation Green Light event. During Operation Green Light, customers with suspended driver licenses will have an opportunity to pay overdue court obligations, including traffic tickets, and save up to 40 percent in additional fees. Once outstanding fees have been paid, or a payment plan has been established, customers will be eligible to have their driver license reinstated.


“While driving is a privilege, it’s also a necessity for people to be able to work, earn a living, and take care of their families,” said Clerk of Court Roger Eaton.
