To insure that we have consistent information from all candidates, we require that each applicant complete a Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Application for Employment. Resume only submissions will not be accepted as having officially applied for any opening. In addition, as required by Florida Statute, all information received by application is considered a Public Record, and as such, must be made available to interested parties upon specific request, and will be retained in our files as per State and Federal retention guidelines.

We will carefully review your qualifications as well as those of all other applicants applying for similar positions. If you are to receive further consideration, we will contact you. If you are not contacted, your application will be held in our active files for sixty (60) days. Changes in name or address and work history will require a new application.

NOTE: It is our policy to verify the education and experience listed on the application by any candidate being offered a position based on the qualifications required. In addition, skills or aptitude testing may be required as a part of the qualification and selection process.

Due to the number of applications received, we are only able to consider for personal interviews those applicants whose qualifications most closely match the requirements of the position.

If you are selected for an interview, the Employee Relations Department will contact you. During the interview, we will discuss your qualifications and provide you with information about the position. In most instances, successful completion of testing will precede a personal interview.

At each step in the process, a candidate's qualifications are carefully reviewed for further consideration. Should you be considered for a position with the Clerk and Comptroller, you will be required to (1) receive and review a number of background check disclosures; (2) provide your authorization; and (3) provide your name, social security number, date of birth and address.
